It took me a long time to figure out what I wanted to do career-wise because I have always had many
various interests. I started out as a flight attendant and was fortunate enough to visit every continent
before I turned 40. I was a small business owner and learned while wearing all those many
hats that I dreaded sales but was addicted to running P&L’s. At 40, I went back to school for accounting,
and I am so glad I did.
My educational background consists of a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and two
Master’s degrees from Georgia State University. I got my CPA license in 2019 and have been working
primarily as a Tax Accountant. I received my Series 7 license in 2021 and am currently focused on earning my
CFP. I am a member of the Georgia Women CPAs.
Personally, I’m very passionate about my faith. Also, I seem to be happiest when outdoors and can easily
find lessons and beauty in the birds, my plants on the patio, a creek, an old tree. Last but not least, I love
my family and am looking forward to marrying “mi amor” in the next couple of months. This will be my first time getting married, and Patrick was definitely worth the wait. I am so excited about this new chapter in my life.
